Children's Story Time :
Stories have a way of engaging us to think more about ourselves and the world we live in. Designed for younger audiences, our story time strives to link children world-wide. Join us for children's stories and crafts from around the world! Held every Thursday starting at 11:30.

Youth Programs:
Throughout the year, our Museum hosts Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Girl Scout and Activity Day group open houses. These events support our youth in passing off requirements to earn patches, including our unique museum patch. These programs usually occur during the early Spring, Summer, and Fall. Events are free, but reservations are required.

Mornings at the Museum:
Mornings at the Museum is a summer program for children ages 5-11, accompanied by an adult. The program is held Tuesday- Thursday over the course of 3 weeks in July, with a different theme each week, but the same program each day of that week. Themes are chosen to reflect the Museum’s mission, collecting areas, and current exhibitions (e.g. archaeology, homes around the world, pottery, cultural traditions, etc.) Each session lasts 60-75 minutes. The program is FREE, but reservations are required. Begins Summer 2020.

Museum Camp:
Explore cultural, natural, and art history through the amazing collections of BYU's four campus museums at Museum Camp.
Museum Camp is a day camp for youth ages 13-16 who love museums and are interested in having a behind-the-scenes view into what it's like to work in one. Participants with an interest in museums, museum careers, art, paleontology, anthropology, or biology will especially enjoy this camp. The staff at BYU's museums will help you take your love of museums to the next level. You will even have a chance to curate your own display and show off your work in an exhibit at the end of the week! June 8-18, 2020
*Due to COVID-19, the 2020 session of Museum Camp has been cancelled. Check back for updates regarding registration for 2021.
