Tour Information

The exhibits are open to visitors during regular Museum hours.  Feel free to come stroll and learn at your own pace.  Cub Scout and Boy Scout activity patches can also be completed at any time.
Guided tours provide a personalized experience for museum visitors including hands-on experiences and additional insight into the exhibits.  Tours must be scheduled at least one week in advance.  Please refer to the pricing chart for tour fee information.  Tours are usually 45 minutes long, but can be adapted to the needs of the group.  As you plan your visit, keep in mind that the Museum can handle a maximum of 40 visitors at a time.

Gallery Tours
Themed Tour with Hands on Activity
Gallery tours introduce visitors to one or both of the current exhibits.
Themed tours begin in the gallery then transition to a hands on activity. 
  • Archeology - Explore the science of digging as you find your own buried treasures. (Weather permitting)
  • Pottery - Discover how ancient pottery was made and construct your own pot.
  • Kachinas - Discover the Kachina cult of the Pueblo cultures in the Southwest and create your own kachina to take home
