Volunteering

The Museum welcomes volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and interests!

Be in involved in all kinds of work at the Museum.  Volunteers work with the education coordinator to choose projects based on personal interests and needs. Volunteers may work in several different areas including:

  • collections
  • public relations
  • education
  • database entry
  • exhibition work
  • and more
Volunteers find their experience at the Museum to be valuable because it helps them to determine their level of interest and skill for several types of  museum-related work. It also often prepares them for paid positions in their field of interest. Volunteers are invaluable to the Museum because they handle projects that require time, work, and attention.
